  HIGH POINT DIVISION

One of the goals of our charter was to promote Flat-shod Tennessee Walking horses classes in local shows in the Central Maryland area. Over the last 21 years we have worked very hard to get classes in numerous shows through out Maryland. We wanted to offer opportunities to beginners, as well as experienced riders, to show their Flat-shod Tennessee Walking Horses. We have also started a nominating High Point Program to reward our outstanding horses. The best 4shows, out of the 6 shows that are pointed by the PWH of MD, will count for the High Point award. We have included a youth division and a beginner 2 Gait (adult only- 1st year) division. Our show series is open to members as well as non-members and offers a lot of fun and good competition. If you would like to be part of our high point program, fill out the form below.

SHOW BILLS
CLASS LISTS -  CHECK BACK SOON FOR UPDATES

Please note some of the below listed shows may be affiliated with a licensed Horse Industry Organization (HIO). Each HIO has it's own set of rules by  which a show is to be run.
You can check the class lists to find out if a show you are considering attending has affiliated.  Then be sure you are aware of the rules for that show.  For example, some shows
may require that your horse be registered in order to show in certain classes.  Also, some shows do not permit cross entry from some types of classes to others.  Below is a link
to the rule books of the HIO's with whom the shows may be affiliated.  If you have any questions, please contact our show committee chair, Rhonda McAvoy for more information.
