Showing Your Walking Horse
One of the goals of our charter was to promote Flat-shod Tennessee Walking horses classes in local shows in the Central Maryland area. Over the last 21 years we have worked very hard to get classes in numerous shows through out Maryland. We wanted to offer opportunities to beginners, as well as experienced riders, to show their Flat-shod Tennessee Walking Horses. We have also started a nominating High Point Program to reward our outstanding horses. The best 5 shows, out of the 9 shows that are pointed by the PWH of MD, will count for the High Point award. We have included a youth division and a beginner 2 Gait (adult only- 1st year) division. Our show series is open to members as well as non-members and offers a lot of fun and good competition. FOR OUR 2008 SHOW SEASON, DUE TO THE INCAPABILITY  OF CLASSES AND CHAMPIONSHIPS WITH OUR CURRENT
HIGH POINT PROGRAM, THE PLANTATION WALKING HORSES OF MARYLAND CLUB WILL NOT BE POINTING  THE
JUNE 7TH FUN SHOW AT DILLSBURG WHICH IS BEING HELD BY THE PENSYLANIA PLANTATION WALKING HORSE CLUB.

OUR  HIGH POINT PROGRAM  WILL OFFER EIGHT SHOWS INSTEAD OF NINE AS PREVIOUSLY ADVERTISED, BUT WILL
STILL COUNT THE BEST OF FIVE SHOWS FOR THE YEAR END AWARDS.

                                    WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.  WE WILL REVISIT THIS ISSUE NEXT YEAR.
